Sunday December 11th

Sunday December 11th

We had a wonderful Sunday at The Episcopal Church on Edisto that celebrated the Third Sunday.  We lit the pink candle – the third candle on our Advent wreath. We have one more Sunday on our  journey before we reach Christmas!

Special congratulations go out to Thad Daise who received his birthday blessing today.  Also thanks to Jean Murray and Bob Hild for the wonderful Front Porch Fellowship.  We also brought in our 23 Christmas boxes for those seafarers who won’t be able to be at home this year.  After a blessing, Father Bill loaded them up in his car and took them to town.  Our hope is they will bring a little Christmas spirit to them!  Click Here to watch the video of the service and don’t forget to scroll down to look at the additional pictures.

We hope you will join next Sunday at 10am for a service of Holy Communion and Front Porch Fellowship.  CLICK HERE to find the Lectionary for December 18th – the 4th Sunday in Advent.  Here is the collect for next week . . .how can we “purify our conscience”?

Purify our conscience, Almighty God, by your daily visitation, that your Son Jesus Christ, at his coming, may find in us a mansion prepared for himself; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Server Schedules

Have a great week and we will see you on Sunday at 10am.

Happy Birthday Thad!
