June 12th was a tough day for us as we said farewell to Bob and Kay Blackwell as they prepared to return to Auburn, AL for their next assignment. During the service our Senior Warden, Betsy Daise, presented them with Emily Meggett’ new cookbook. After the service we all headed to Bubba and Catherine Main’s home for a picnic. The food was incredible and the chance to spend time with each other was invaluable.

Bob and Kay spent the last year forming wonderful relationships in our community and guiding us along our Christian journey. We will miss them dearly. During their tenure we learned a lot about ourselves and what we are looking for in a new priest – much of which has gone into our Parish Profile with our Search Committee.
